Research and writing
The sustained time required to find sources, test details, write clearly, and revise responsibly.
Reader-supported
Satmar.org is being built as a lasting public resource for understanding Satmar and the wider Jewish world from which it emerged. Reader support gives that work time, independence, and continuity.

A public resource
Research, translation, and responsible publishing require sustained attention. Contributions fund the labor behind the site as well as the sources, tools, and systems that make publication possible.
Satmar.org is independent and member-led. It does not speak officially for a Satmar institution, leadership center, or every member of the community. Supporters help make one informed perspective from within the community available to readers everywhere.
How support is used
Contributions support the project as a whole so the work can follow the strongest sources and the most important publishing needs.
The sustained time required to find sources, test details, write clearly, and revise responsibly.
Careful work with Yiddish, Hebrew, and Lashon Kodesh material that is otherwise difficult for many readers to reach.
Books, documents, photographs, permissions, oral history, and the preservation of living memory.
Editorial review, typography, design, and the visual work needed to make demanding material readable.
Hosting, technical maintenance, privacy, security, and the dependable systems behind a public resource.
The working time that allows the project to publish consistently and deepen rather than remain occasional.
